Bad Wolf?!?
OK, like pretty much everyone else I've been wondering what this whole "Bad Wolf" thing is with the new series of Dr. Who.
Well, we're going to find out anyway next week (next week's episode is called "Bad Wolf") but a new bad wolf website has appeared and, looking at the whois entry it appears to be an official BBC website to add to the Who is Dr. Who and Geocomtex sites...
Interesting!
(look for the hidden text on one of the pages)
Hmm, interesting.
Missed Who this week due to house move, and very annoyed because also missed the repeat on BBC3 for same reason! Argh!
Any ideas where I can get a copy of that episode (it's the third Slitheen episode). Can they be downloaded from t'internet or will it be repeated again at some point?
It's the only episode I've missed so far this series, so extremely unhappy. :-(
Posted by: Gavin Kagan at June 6, 2005 10:49 AMJust seen the trailer for episode 13
Bad Wolf = Davros!!
What do you reckon?
I've also seen the trialer for episide 13. I think that the Bad Wolf may be The Master - if you can remeber him for the 70's
Posted by: Neil at June 13, 2005 4:06 PMI did think it might be the master, although there is a line in the trailer that says 'Iam the god of all daleks' makes me think of Davros. If it is the master who do you think is playing him?......
Posted by: Tim at June 14, 2005 12:33 PMThought both the Master and Davros. Certainly seems to be leading to Davros. But last time we saw both Mickey (Ricky???) and Adam Mitchel the Doc was directly/indirectly responsibile for leaving them peeved. Could they be involved? Mickey (Ricky - what is it with the Ricky thing?) will be appearing in Episode 13. Final thought - do we lose Doc 9 in episode 13 or do we get him into the Xmas special?
Posted by: Darren at June 14, 2005 6:27 PMOh and get this!! Been messing with letters (too much free time!) and if we think that Adam was at any point harboring feeling for Rose, and then felt betrayed by her (which could make it him leaving the hidden message on the BW website) then he may have - at some point - felt it was ADAM V ROSE. Now, let's take away some of those letters, in order... *DA* V ROS* - Interesting, or merely a concidence? WHO KNOWS?
Posted by: Darren at June 15, 2005 7:00 PMDavid Tenant is in Saturdays cast list.....
Posted by: tim at June 15, 2005 11:21 PMA.D.A.M ( A Dalek A Man ) = DAVROS half man half dalek
Posted by: george morton at June 16, 2005 1:10 PMYeah Im pretty sure Davros is the Bad Wolf. Remember the mutated voice in this weeks trailer, ''They survive through me.''
Posted by: Gavin at June 16, 2005 10:56 PMAccording to Russell T Davies, you're all wrong! :-)
From http://www.badwolf.org.uk/unsolved.html
"Judging from the reactions I've had, a lot of people seem to think the Bad Wolf has already been revealed. Oh, it's the TV station. Oh, it's half a million Daleks. I've even got one friend claiming it's the Face of Boe! I must get better friends.
"I don't want to give anything away yet, but there is another revelation to come in Saturday's episode. We haven't discovered the true Bad Wolf yet."
So, unless this is a massive bluff every theory out there is plain wrong.
Posted by: G at June 17, 2005 12:11 AMi have not used my real e mail but i think davros is the darlek leader because he has a darlek voice
Posted by: matt at June 17, 2005 3:04 PMOf course it's Davros, all these theorys you all have to much time, listen to the 1 DAY to go trailer on the bbc.it is clearly DAVROS and i will bet any one any amount of money that it isnt
MArk
Hey Mark, so how much did you lose? Never mind - looks like the emperor was simply that. Maybe the Adam/Davros thing will rise again. Ok, no Daleks next season but RTD is a clever thing and maybe there's a pre-Dalek story. We had Genesis of the Daleks - why not a genesis of Davros?!? Felt a genuine pang of sadnes when CE departed, helped by a moving 'leaving' speech. Interesting to see what David T will do with it. And you know, I already miss that 'daft old face'.
Posted by: Darren at June 20, 2005 10:13 AMWell, my brother and I thought Bad Wolf would be the Master, who had somehow reincarnated himself as the leader of the Daleks. I can't deny I was a little disappointed that it wasn't, but only because we had got ourselves so worked up about it. At any rate, I was completely blown away by the real revelation, and I was completely blown away by the ending in general.
Somebody suggested (hopefully tongue in cheek) that Bad Wolf might be Adric. So, we started a whole line of endless jokes: "Bad Wolf is the Krynoid's brother, Bad Wolf is K-9, Bad Wolf is the Pyramids of Mars", etc...
