Finally, the game is afoot.

Perhaps now we'll get 4 weeks of mass electioneering then nothing for a while?

I can only hope - I'm already sick of this campaign and it only officially starts today!

Who to pick - it really is 'pick the best of a bad bunch'. I, like so many others, am disillusioned with politics and certainly don't feel engaged with this parliament at all, especially after all Blair's spinning and outright bloody lies. All the parties will try to persuade us that we'll be better off under their stewardship but will we? I think not. Tony's Cronies will probably get in again unless people finally decide to give them the bloody nose they so thoroughly deserve.

I live in a strong Labour ward so there is no chance of anyone but the Labour candidate being returned as our MP.

This is the first time in my life I'm actually going to have to talk myself into voting...

Perhaps it really is time we got a "None of the Above" option on the ballot papers?
