Access Denied

Wow. Bush sure doesn't like those funny 'furriners'... After all, why else would the campaign block access to georgewbush.com from pretty much anywhere outside the US?

Plenty other people have blogged about this, including the Beeb.

Kinda shows the contempt the rest of the world (including the UK) is held in doesn't it?

Just how much do I wish Jed Bartlett was going to be resident in The West Wing?

yes, it's hard to watch The West Wing and then come back to reality - a reality in which people can actually want to vote for Bush. Sigh.

The fictional Presidents in 24, and a load of movies always come across as much better than reality. However, having watched some of The Power Of Nightmares I can well believe that there are enough Americans who can be convinced to vote for him if they're scared enough!
