Cow Parade Manchester

The Cow Parade has finally come to Manchester. We (thats C and myself) both had a day off on the same day (shock, horror) this week and decided to wander into Manchester. On the way in (on the train) C said "I wonder when the Cow Parade is on?"

The question was answered when we walked out of Oxford Road Station and saw a fibreglass cow near the entrance. A swift call into Manchester tourist information later and we had a cow map and had some fun wandering round the city centre looking at some of the cows.

We've decided that it would be a fun project to try to get photos of all the cows and put them in an online gallery soo... that's what we're going to be doing. We've got a while (the parade is on until 12 September) so we're going to take our time but it should be a good laugh and give anyone who can't get to Manchester for this Cow Parade an idea of what our cows looked like.

There are 152 cows this time so it'll take a while anyway. Some of the cows are in places which may be hard to get to (some are airside in Manchester Airport so may take some sweet-talking for us to get to) but I hope we can get photos of them all... The Manchester Parade is bigger than the London one but only by one cow. It still counts as bigger though so nyah! :)
