Yet another IE problem
Looks like FireFox 0.9 got released just in time.
According to US CERT
"Users should be aware that any website, even those that may be trusted by the user, may be affected by this activity and thus contain potentially malicious code."
And the Internet Storm Center are more blunt
"use a browser other then MS Internet Explorer until the current vulnerabilities in MSIE are patched."
Symantec have done a writeup of the new trojan, dubbed 'scob' for whatever reason they chose...
As I said before, it really is time people. Get a different browser -- stop exposing yourselves to these problems... I recommend (and use) Firefox on both my PC and my Mac. Perhaps you should do the same?
I must agree. After ditching MSIE I've never looked back. It's nice not to have to *constantly* worry about loopholes.
