AntiPsychotica

Hmmm.... Just how scary is this story.

Here's a link to the original article.

Land of the free?

This raises all sorts of questions for me as a diabetic, seeing as eli lilly make a vast range of insulin analogs. Right now I don't use any of their products but what if they come out with something which will have a clear benefit for me? Do I go with my morals (anyone who reads this blog will know how I feel about Bush) or not?

Right now, I'm simply glad that they can't use any profits I've put their way to fund Bush's campaign simply because they've never had a penny from me. Well, more accurately they've never had a penny from me through the NHS as I don't have to pay for any medication because of a very generous exemption to diabetics who have to take medication.

Who do you think pays in the end for the generous exemption on your medicines? Certainly not Eli Lilly.
