A day in the life of a Middle Manager...

Shocked.

Blimey.

I can't believe it.

The very last person on Earth I actually thought would hand me his resignation did so today. He's got a job as a software developer for a security company. I didn't do my managerial duty and attempt to talk him out of it because I know he's much better off out of this place.

I can only hope that I am successful in my job hunt soon as well. Did I mention that? No, of course I didn't! ;)

I finally placed my CV out in the field and I guess it's a matter of waiting to see what happens and whether I get offered anything. It's kinda hard in the field I work because agencies and recruiters hold all the positions - the job centres don't even get a look in once you get into this kind of work. Wish me luck... In one day my CV has had 37 'hits' so I'm hopeful I'll either start getting emails or phone calls soon.
